Campground Policies
ELK CROSSING 555 - CAMPGROUND RULES
All people entering for a stay at Elk Crossing Campground must register at
the office located at the general store.
CHECK IN / CHECK OUT
Check in time is 2:00pm and check out time is 1:00pm.

If you site is available, you may check in earlier than 2:00pm
or extend your check out time to 6:00pm
for a $5 fee and confirmation from the office.
​
SITE OCCUPANY
Only one travel trailer or tent is allowed per site unless otherwise arranged by the office.
Additional fees may apply.
USE OF ELECTRIC
If you reserved an electric site, please make sure that you are connected to the correct outlet
that is marked on the post with the corresponding camp site number. ​

If you reserved a non-electric site, you are NOT permitted to plug into any outlets.
​
If you are found plugged into an outlet, you will be asked to unplug immediately and may be subject to an electric surcharge fee. You may be required to pay for any damage to our electric system.

VEHICLE TAGS
Vehicle tags must remain on your rearview mirror at all times to verify that you are a registered camper. Additional vehicle tags may be acquired at the general store. (fee may apply).

Any vehicle found without a tag may be asked to leave - this is to keep our campground safe and maintain the area from misuse from non-registered campers.
Our goal is the safety and security of our campers.

PICNIC TABLES / FIRE RINGS
Each spot is provided with a picnic table and fire ring.
Please do NOT move any tables or fire rings without approval from the office.

BATH HOUSE
Please be respectful of the bathrooms. If you are aware of misuse, please notify the office.
PETS
Pets are allowed, but they must be leashed and barking controlled.
Please clean up after your pet.
NOISE / QUIET TIME
There are currently no set quiet times but please be respectful of other campers.
Generators can be ran at all time.

TRASH
Please dispose of your trash in the dumpster provided by campground.
All trash must be in a plastic bag and tied. Do not leave trash at your campsite.
DUMP STATION
There is a dump station on site. Dump station is for our guest only.

SPEED LIMIT IS 5 MPH
Please obey the speed limit for safety reasons and to keep your children and pets safe.
FIRES
Please do not leave fires unattended and no cutting of firewood without permission.
No burning trash in fire rings. All trash must be cleaned up before departure.
FIREARMS
No use of firearms or BB guns are permitted on the campground due to insurance liability.

WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO HAVE ANY CAMPING PARTY OR VISITORS OF A CAMPING PARTY EVICTED FROM THE CAMPGROUND FOR NOT FOLLOWING CAMPGROUND POLICIES.
